Sorry to hear that.
In highschool I hit an open car door, but had enough time to lock up brakes and did a pretty good slide under after contact. No serious damage to me or the bike. The car door didn't shut. lol
Last year, or maybe two now, a girl on bike was hit by truck areound 36th or 38th and Penn's police tried to make like it didn't happen. Guess it wasnt going ot look good on the stats, or something.. Not sure how that ended up as they have enough camaras they certainly should have been able to get plate (if they wanted).
