Ugly Bastard.. 67 Barracuda Notch
Well, I ended up going with a set of B body long tube Hedman headers, got a basically new set for $50 from a club member. They took some hammering on the drivers side to clear the steering box and torsion bar, but over all a decent fit. #7 tube is right where the Z bar would go, so I'm going to modify where the Z bar actually sits, by moving it forwards. Can't move the tube forward as I'm not sure how I would ever get the starter out, and it can't go back because of the firewall. Shouldn't mess the geometry up too much, as long as the fork moves when the pedal is pushed, we're all good.
The rad that came with the car was a big 28" 3 core from a camper van, but it barely fit. I stole the 26" 3 core from my '66 Coronet and I'll use the 28" in that.
Someone stripped the threads in the crank snout so I had to deal with that.. Sigh.
Got the auto console modified for a 4 speed, with Inland shifter.
Slowly coming along.
