I am about to try to start a 1967 barracuda that has not run for 15 years. I'm looking for advice on what I should do for the cylinders prior to starting. I have already replaced the fuel system and change the oil. 273 v8 with 43k original miles

Pull the plugs and put a squirt or oil or marvel mystery in each cylinder. How did the oil look?

I did the same thing with my Dart last spring, I pulled my distributor and primed the oil pump, but You could just pull the coil wire and turn it over to do same thing. Probably have to do brakes for sure after sitting that long too.

I used a few ounces of marvel mystery oil in all the cylinders and actually use two stroke gas pour some down the carb and filled the bowl. Fire it right up, let it smoke for a few it will clear right up after a few minutes if the rings, valves, and seals are still good.
