I did have to rework my kickdown.But it was because I went from a 2bbl to a 4 bbl and used the same linkage. A bend here and there and lengthened the rod from tranny to the mount on the intake.You can just see it to the left of the bulk head connector.Hardware store threaded sleve about 2'' longView attachment 1715158167
