I just finished putting my 68 dart back together, and have put about 50 miles on it. yesterday I took it out on the highway for the first time.
It didn't like it.
I was on the highway for about 5 minutes. 2 minutes later I was home. I checked under the hood since I could smell something burning, and discovered the exhaust header glowing slightly. The car also has no power and bad acceleration, and I have to let it warm up, like, 5 minutes otherwise she'll stall on takeoff. She also idles a little rough, and is hard to start. All this leads me to believe she's running too lean.
The question is: How do i fix this?
The engine is a Super slant six with a 2-barrel carburetor, probably out of a 79 aspen.
