Small block bell with a 4.8” hole; what’s the app?

Casting says it should have the 4.3" opening, somebody could have opened it up to the larger size, I know it only cost me $20 to have it done years ago.
Also Brewer's sells an adapter ring to go from 4.8 to 4.3 to take the slack up for like $30.
