Warranty block is perfect for somebody needing one for a factory 383 car that was cast after their build date if their car doesnt have one. Its not as desirable as a numbers matching block, but since these things were driven hard i am sure some of em went pop and had warranty engines installled with the corporate 5-50 warranty of the time.
