The “anti race” list is growing.... I finally ditched the rear drum brakes in favor of some Strange disc brakes. Noted at Famoso it stopped much nicer. So far running no proportioning valve, but am making some gauges so that I can check the pressures. I may add the valve in the front line to bias more to the rear. Bad news on this deal is that the left axle slid right out, the right one takes some persuasion. Same on the install. I fear years of trans brake launches may have taken its toll on my S-60 housing. Of course if the rear is coming out, might as well have the shocks redone. They’ve been in the car a long time. Shocks?.... well the fronts could be looked at too, I mean the springs are in need of replacement...... might be a long summer.
