LED Headlights installed..
Well, bought these LED Jeep headlights for my Jeep Wrangler... They arrived yesterday, and was about to install in my Jeep (honest) BUT, had this thought... " Let me see if they might fit the old 65 'cuda first... Removed one headlight from the headlight bucket and with new LED head light dangling & plugged into stock wire harness, I turned on my light switch... Wow... (I was sold at this point to move forward after seeing a Big Difference)... Now the LED unit did not want to go into the bucket, but almost did... Got out my Calipers and started measuring ... The back of the LED is a Aluminum Housing... Hell, I can machine that... And that is what I did!!! Love the results and Looks ... By time I got her all done, it was night... Turned them on, adjusted the beams... Never once did I start the 'cuda .... The LED stayed cool to the touch... No noticable power drop... And such a White light... Now "All" the Lights (except for the radio) are LED's in the old 'cuda !!!!
Ugh... Gotta re order Another set of LED headlamps for the Jeep !!!! LoL But, will be out this coming Saturday night with the 'cuda banging gears somewhere in the Arizona Desert... testing of course... ⚓
