Long story short I am upgrading my fuel cell and the old one just had bolt in middle and the male connetor on it. I was going to try to reuse it but its to Long. So new cell has a two wire sending unit with green and yellow wire coming out. Anyone deal with these? Any idea what each wire is and or how to wire it up if possible?

Looks like it is mounted in rubber? If so my guess would be one goes to ground and the other to the gauge?

Yeah I am thinking that just not sure what one is ground. The supplier is no good at answering any questions on it

If you can see which wire goes to the rheostat that would be the wire that goes to the gauge.

Ground one wire and put an ohm meter on the other. Move the float and watch the meter. If the reading goes up when the float is moved up that should be the way you can hook it up.
