Not really doing anything on the Demon.
This weekend however I am back in full stride. As you can see from the pictures I have been focusing on releasing the Hemi from the spaghetti wire harness. I have basically got all the connections bagged and tagged. I had to buy a fuel rail connector tool to unconnect the fuel line stuff. Amazon says it will deliver on Monday. All these new fangled connectors are a pain in the butt. And yes before I get flamed into oblivion I fully realize they are faster cheaper and more effective. In like manner so is a B1 bomber but i still think a B29 Is way cooler! Enjoy the pictures and I will see what tomorrow brings.
So finally got the gen 3 up in the air, now I will build a carriage for it so I can roll it around safely, then drop Demon down over it. If you look close I fabricated a spreader bar to pick up the motor with. It is constructed of 2 by 2 by 1/4 wall sq tubing. I put a couple slide stops in the center just in case it slid on the tubing, I spaced them out just past the oil pan. The pickup points are just outside the headers so I can swap headers while it is in the air. I ordered a set of TTIs (ouch). Hav a great week to all
