Ok so as you can see in the pix I now have the wiring harness broken down into 4 basic sub assemblies. I decided to try and eliminate the portions that had no bearing on making engine run and the parts that simply were not applicable. I selected the anti lock brake module. As I started eliminating wires one by one it dawned on me I may be in over my head with the whole wiring thing. Mother MopR has ganged the QD plugs and it is crazy! I am just not that good with electrical. I am at best adequate. So .... as the drinks got stronger and the Zepplin got louder I thought to myself WTF? Buy a aftermarket harness and be done. Then reality set in I have spent entire cash stash on K frame etc. and have zero dollars in reserve so I have to make this work. I fear only my combat brethren will understand the place I went to. Pain pills from knee replacement surgery, a touch of bourbon ( ok maybe a bit more than that!) Colt as always on work platform, and my fearless german Shepard piled into my lap keeping me warm and sane. thinking F### it this is pointless. I will reingage come next weekend. Long gone are days you can just wire up a motor. The guys in this website that have went before me and slogged thru all these issues give me the determination to keep pushing forward. I will win in the end and this thing will run! Did I mention 2nd Marines rock ? We are the tip of the spear! I included a pix of our flag just cause! And yes I can hear all you Navy boys muttering even now but suffice to say I simply would not even have the breathe of life without a Navy Corpsman. Just saying! Clearly the bourbon talking. My wife is not home or she would have already taken all electrical devices away from me hah!
