I just bought a copy of Photoshop 6 for 20 bucks. Did not require activation. I don't know what the latest copy is of that type. I am using it on W7, don't think it will work on 8--10

I’m using my PSE 6 on Windows 7. I won’t upgrade to a higher Windows version because I have no need for the changes they offer and don’t want to give up the capability I have. Latest-greatest Windows isn’t better...just different...for a different set of users needs.

My combination works just fine for what I want, and need, to do.
