Give Harley a chance. The two dogs behind me are pretty efficient in dispatching them, and they don't have much room to work in. There's a whippet that lived near here who was pretty good at it too. Two out of the three have been bit once in the process. I think key is for the dog to be tall enough and have a big enough mouth to grab them and get them off the ground.
