Same here in the Carolinas. Driving down the interstate, what looks like smoke or dust blowing across the hwy is the pine pollen. It's a waste to wash the car.

The real joy of parking on the street here begins when the aphids start working in the Lindens. Sticky speckles of aphid 'dew' on everything. Even though its a 4 block walk home - I try to garage my vehicles whenever I can. However not nearly as bad as pine sap on the cars. So I won't complain.
