He was also a serious art collector and a Chef. He was an art consultant to Sears featuring the “Vincent Price Collection” back in the early 70s, had his own art museum and wrote several cookbooks.
He was well educated and well versed in all types of arts. He had one of the largest “teaching art” collections at one time worth several million dollars. His art collection was part of our course work when I was in Art School in the early 80s.
