I heard God planned to create the Earth in six days...but since he hadn’t created the Earth yet, he didn’t know how long a day actually was. He spent at least an eon or two in a “do-loop” before deciding how he was going resolve that.
Oh yeah, and where to place the fossils that appear to be millions of years old just to give the kids something to play with took another few eons too.
