If there was no "day" yet, how would He spend "eons"?
Aren't eons finally composed of days if we are talking about fossils actually being as old as we are told they are.
Was time created by then?
Or are you strictly being humorous?

I heard fossils dated by the rocks they are in.
And the rocks are dated by the fossils in the rocks.
