Red Wheel liners
Years ago I had to remove Ziebart undercoating from the entire engine bay of my 68 Formula S. I used Varsol and a plastic kitchen scraper/spatula. Takes a lot of time but it did the job. The plastic scraper did not damage the paint work, and shouldn't harm your liners either.
