Went racing this weekend
Yeah I know, its not an A body...... I dont have one at the moment, havent found my second gen notchback or ragtop yet. The hunt is still on. I thought that I would share anyhow.....
I took the 55 to the Langley Loafers old time drags this weekend. Had a great weekend, the 55 ran its best to date, 13.2 @ 101. Not bad for a 4000 lb car with a smogger low compression 440 that has never been rebuilt. I won second in my class "street classic" which is 1949 to 1964, freaking awesome. My brother also won second in his class, street classic A after breaking the diff the day before (we were up to 2 am setting up the new gearset).
