4:00 appointment with the AC estimator. We can't just replace the compressor/ condenser unit but we also need to replace the Evaporator and or the air handler as well. Good thing the wife is buying. LOL

Mike, I don't know how handy you are... But in the last 5 years, I replaced both HVAC systems in my house, 2 air handlers and 2 outside units. I determined what I needed. Then I bought them online, from a reputable company. I pulled the air handlers, myself and re fit the new ones with a little sheet metal fab work. I set the outside units. Then I call my HVAC buddy to come and hook up the line set and controls... Love to know how much $$$$$$$$$ I have saved myself..........
