Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning...wow feels like this summer is flying by. Good thing with the 4th a Wednesday, they decided not to have us open on Sunday for the holiday week. Today one of the new girls is having a pool party, it's the perfect day for a cookout. There's a couple young guys I warned not to turn into knuckleheads...three beers is my limit anyway so I'll be out of there before anyone gets hurt or bent out of shape.

My Mom had a hospital bed delivered today. She won't have to worry anymore about my step-dad falling out. Right now it is wedged into their small living room, until later today the maintenance men will remove the regular bed from the bedroom. When their complex was being built (senior community), they picked out which unit they wanted, across from the maintenance building, I wonder if this scenario crossed her mind. Wives are smart.

Stepdad is at the stage where he doesn't eat much at all. He picked up the phone on Saturday when I called, and we had a nice chat, Mom said he enjoyed it.
