Distributor Bolt question
Hey folks,
Finally after 14 months, we got the Duster fired up! Talk about a great feeling. My wife and daughter heard them open headers and came running out to the garage. Hugs and high 5s followed ;)
Anyway, I noticed the timing was wandering around and I noticed the tightened bolt on acted stripped allowing the distributor to move. Pulled it out and threads feel off the bolt.
Not sure is this a unique bolt, looks close to an oil pan bolt, but they don't want to go in? The old one almost seems tapered. Is that the case?
