It would only make sense!! The amount of air that passes through the radiator is determined by a pressure differential, that is to say that the more pressure you have in front of the radiator and the less pressure you have behind the radiator will determine how much air actually passes through the radiator fins. So if you have these scoops pushing air into the engine bay it creates pressure that interferes with the air that's trying to pass from the front of the radiator into the engine bay/??? That may be why Mopar "factory" hood scoops were always sealed off from the engine bay??
