Stop in for a cup of coffee

Karl you are actually awake no work yesterday?

Luckily I don't work weekends... They have a weekend crew that works Fri-Sat-Sun...

They sometimes ask for volunteers to work weekends for "special" organizing and putting stock away, but since I am not certified on the Hubetc's (sideways forklifts that can carry 40 - 50 foot pieces), I would not be productive for that work... If they don't get enough volunteers, then they mandate workers on a rotating basis...

They are trying to staff up to go to 4 ten hour days for 2nd and 3rd shifts, 5 eight hour days for 1st shift, and 4th shift that will work three 12 hour shifts 12:00 AM - 12:30 PM, and 5th shift will work 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM to cover weekends... 2nd and 3rd shifts will work Mon-Thur and have Fridays off... :D

But that is taking time to staff up because they have a high turn over rate... They hire about 8 - 10 workers and then loose about 5 - 8 of them... And it takes 4 - 5 weeks to get them trained... So it's like trying to kick water up hill.... :BangHead:

I'm typically working five ten hour days... It gets a little fatiguing, but the overtime pay is good... :D
