Stop in for a cup of coffee

I'm sure it's considered politically incorrect now, but Dad used to extend the gray water discharge line on the washing machine to the back yard to aid in watering the lawn. That much water that didn't go to the septic system. In the old home town part of town wasn't on the municipal sewer system, a friend's house backed up to a sand wash, common anywhere in the Mojave that is not flat. His neighbors had done the same trick with the gray water into the sand wash. Some creative fellow added some seeds from a controlled substance into the neighbors gray water. Low and behold 3 months later there were these bright green plants growing in the sand wash. Friend watches the plants grow to maturity and just as he was about to harvest some, the plants mysteriously disappeared.
