I’d pull a coil and stuff a plug in it to check for spark.
They pack a whallop,you would hear the snap.
Usually no fire and no code is a fuel supply issue.
I just have to tear into it I guess. I really need to get a book on it also. I don't even think I have a owners manual not sure. Be nice if it is a relay or something. It has sit for years but I usually start it every month and run it around the yard.
