Just looked at my hops plants..damn Jap beatles have been munching leaves. Doesn't look like they bother the cones much, just enough to leave black spots on the outer leafs at the top. Not many on now, guess they hit them when it was really hot and the storms knocked them of and drove them away. I didn't think about it, the wife usually sets a trap for them to keep them away from her roses and did my do it this year.
