Good one Biff...I totally agree with you. If people keep giving them handouts that just encourages them and others to keep doing it. (A free lunch so to speak) I know you have a lot of overdoses in B.C. and this may sound cold hearted but if this is the life they have chosen then why should we spend millions on them trying to straighten them out or save them from dying if they're going to go right back at it. I'm tired of seeing these people standing at stop lights with signs "Homeless and Hungry with a family to support". I saw a guy doing that right in front of Walmart and get this, there was a sign right in the front entrance saying "We're hiring". What a moron. I'm willing to help anyone who shows me they are trying to help themselves but to all those lazy druggies/drinkers who can't control themselves and just want a handout so they don't have to work, sorry pal...not happening. Time to get off my soapbox.
