Detroit engines ,you like....not mopar...

I think the strangest motor I had was in my 64 GMC. It was a v6 305. Operated between 1000 and 2000 RPMs only. Granny 4-speed with a top speed of about 55 to 60. Cool truck bought it for 900 at the beginning of the summer and used it all summer(2012) and sold it in the Fall for 1800. I wish I could have kept it but you can't keep them all.
With that said I had a 79 Trans Am with a 403 6.6 Oldsmobile back in the day for a few years and I liked it. For the last couple years I've been helping a guy restore a 79 Trans Am slowly and we have the 6. 6 almost ready to go and it's mildly modified. I'm eager to see how it works.
