First example is that the 5.7L Eagle did not have 11:1 compression. It was 10.5:1, just like the 6.1L. Also, a lot of what you were citing came from sources that were confusing the truck Fa engines that had variable intake runners with the 5.7L car engines that didn’t.

It’s more complicated than just reading something on the internet and thinking you got an education of fact...because you didn’t.
Well the picture of the heads side by side came from the LX forums actually. As did the flow numbers.

Either way, if you have some good links and information please let me know. I'm just trying to learn and by no means have I fully figured out this engine
