First Time...

Im in Fort Collins 5000 feet and went down 2 steps lean on my 67 2bbl. I think i should have left it alone. The HC was 1000 higher than before the rejet. And it has a random misfire. The co or co2 was higher as well and everything i have read seems to indicate a lean misfire.
I tried jetting my carb up and down and seems to work a lot better going down. I’m at 9000 ft above sea level. I also advanced my timing a hair. I had the 1406 eddy carb on my 383 before and It didn’t like it. I tried changing the springs and rods but had no luck so I switched over to a quickfuel 750 and my 383 run much better now.
