brake master cylinder mounting studs

I will try and tread a nut on the stud, all I know is the stud does not protrude through the fire wall like the other 3 do. If the nut will start I will put some lock tight on and leave it alone. I was only asking before I install new master cylinder, looks like they are all seated inside just fine. Its all most like the stud needs to be 1/4 - longer in order for the nut to look like other 3. Maybe the stud had trouble when the person I got the car from and never had a nut on it to start off. I will put a nut on it and try it ok.
