I spent 750.00 for the Wilcap adapter with all fasteners, flexplate, and hub adapter. My trans came from an '86 Monte Carlo SS for $100.00. The Transgo shift kit was $190.00. The shift kit and other HD pieces were installed by the trans rebuilder, along with a 2800 stall converter he supplied. Total cost for the trans work was $1400.00.

I think I spent a total of $2000.00 on everything but I installed it myself. I cut the adapter plate myself. You're lucky that you found MC SS trans. The MC SS governor is the real find, I had to modify my governor and also replace the plastic speedo gear in the trans to get the dash speedo to read correctly. It's way cheaper than the Gearvendor and easier in my opinion. I paid less for my trans overhaul but it only had to take 400HP?? Treblig
