It's a little disturbing when you buy a big ticket item for a car that is more expensive or almost the same price you paid for the whole car.

I already have more into parts for my valiant wagon than I paid for the whole car LOL

However, if you get the car cheap enough, then you will spend much more than you paid for it to fix it up right...


But the bright side is you saved the money on the original purchase... If you paid more for the car and then have to put all that money in to catch up on the neglected maintenance, then you would be in it for alot more $$$$... It's gonna cost the same to replace the components when you fix it no matter what you paid for the car up front...
