A different Q on 340 Vs 416

Alright thats one way to do it,but why not just run a sensible street solid roller at that point and get more lift for the same duration? alot of Comp XE solidrollers out there doing alot of miles with no isues and i believe those Lunati wodoo cams seem to last quite good aswell and both series run reasonable lash.

Yeah loss of springpreasure is bad news for sure, much worse than on a flattapet.

Because the street rollers don't like to be lashed at .002 so the hydraulic roller lobe is quicker off the seat.

Besides, what they call a "street roller" lobe today is nothing but a 1988 "race" lobe.
