Stop in for a cup of coffee

My wife comes to me and says she wants a newer iPhone. She says it’s because her old one has no memory and she can’t upload any apps or system updates. She goes on to say Verizon checked it and says there is nothing they can do and she just needs a newer phone.

Bullshit, I said. There is no reason your are out of memory, there is something wrong with your phone. She didn’t believe me, but I took it and sure enough...the photo memory usage is 90% of the total system memory but she only has about a dozen photos on her phone.

I searched a bit and it turns out to be an iOS glitch where every photo ever taken is held in a phantom memory that you can’t access. Reset the date manually to 20 years ago and they suddenly all appear and can be deleted permanently.

I gave her the phone back and told her she doesn’t need a new one.
Wow!
And shame on Verizon.
I'll stop now before going onto a rant about Verizon's 'repair' practices....:mob:
