Stop in for a cup of coffee
I saw a new to me patching procedure for concrete freeways earlier this year. US 101 nearby, guessing that concrete was placed in the late 50s early 60s. Saw out the offending pavement, remove it, doctor the sub-grade up some, and place a "pre-cast" panel of concrete in it's place. Fill the gaps at the sides of the new concrete with an epoxy and bring in the grinder/milling machine to make the transitions nice.
