I have a farm stand nearby that grows it fresh 45 minutes south of here near Kankakee, IL and they truck it up here and sell it out of a barn near one of my old neighborhoods... :usflag:
The corn that I had tonight was fresh picked off the stalk no later than last night... :thumbsup:
I once got there at 4:00 PM and they just picked a fresh batch that afternoon around 1:00 PM... I got it a few hours off the stalk... :thumbsup:
There's nothing like fresh crisp sweet corn... :D
We've been going there for over 30 years during season...
