Transgo tf-3 and kickdown

In my directions it mentions nothing about tyeing it back. Are you supposed to still do that?

Thanks Tom
You can do it either way, but I kept my Lokar kickdown as a variable throttle pressure setup, adjusted the same as if it were a kickdown. Tooling around town the shifts are mild, quick. Full throttle they are fast and firm. Seems a better way than tying it back like many mention elsewhere. Strange Transgo makes no mention on what to do regardless of whether a greenhorn or seasoned professional is installing it.
