Im not wet sanding,engine bay is full of wire wheel tracks and some rough weld repairs. Its getting cleaned, scuffed, primed and scuffed with scotchbrite.
I will spend the time on the shell, but the engine bay seems like a lot of work to be hidden with an engine.
I agree, I have not painted in 10 years so I did go over board on this just to make sure it went well, my son Creed said the same thing you did, he is 36 :lol:
