Stop in for a cup of coffee

Almost caught up...
That floor panel is a PIA. I cant see where the spot welds are Due to the rust so have to chisel them out slowly! An the Valient panel that is supposed to be the one will need a ton of massaging to fit!
Run a sander over them. Flap disc on grinder works well. Drill at the low spot/dimples

I wish I knew how to weld. You know they have a huge auto mechanics/body shop vo-tech school here.
I feel they miss the boat not having weekend "how to classes" showing guys like me the basics.
I thought every day was the weekend for you. :poke:

I taught myself. Actually not hard to do it is all in practice.
x2

I got a gift the other day from a friend but i am not sure how I feel about it. Yet

probably need to cut the dash to install. No F'n way!

There are no speakers because I have never had a radio in it.
I put one of those 'stereo' single speakers in dash where my original was. Sounds like crap, but that could be the radio.

Internally, the beam repair looks like this. The angle cuts on the tips lock it in. Glued and screwed (2 ledger locks) keep it from moving apart or bending outward.
Then the full 1" finish boards provide some bending resistance.
