Anyone Running This Front Disc Brake Kit ? CPP
Got the other 2 boxes today. Finally have the whole kit and everything looks decent. Decided to jump right in.
I did get the passenger side installed tonight. The worst part of the whole thing was getting the eccentric/cam bolts out of the old UCAs...pain in the ***.
Everything from the kit went together well, but there were a few minor issues.
#1 - No instruction sheet. Not a huge deal as I had converted a few B-Bodies back in the day using OEM '73-up A-Body parts.
#2 - I had to open up one of the holes in the dust shield with a die grinder so the LBJ bolt head would sit flat against the spindle. Also, because of the lack of instructions, I had to change the bolts for the spindle to LBJ around so that the nut was on the backside (LBJ side) or the bolt interferes with the rotor.
Other than those minor things, I'd say it's good.
