I originally thought they were poured into the concrete and had rusted off, I am pretty sure that is how the handrail was out back that I removed when I built the deck. But these are just recessed enough that they cant be kicked sideways. Of course that resulted in them rusting cause they were sitting in a pool of water every time it rained. :BangHead: I might fill those pockets with epoxy if I have any play when done. Though it won't matter for rust anymore since the stubs I welded on are stainless.
