Guy across the street joined the marines at 16 in WWII, did the pacific, then Korea, Then early Vietnam. Amazing he pulled through was shot at the Chosen campaign that's all I know. He wrote a book that will be released upon his death. Should be interesting.
This guy was on a VA web site much like this one. Every year around the anniversary he'd post a coupe long ones explaining a day from the book giving the details of what he faced. Other than those times he said he never really spoke about it.
