I'm sure this has been asked before but here goes anyways... I have no issue with purchasing from the US however often the shipping is unattractive. Is anyone aware of a viable Canadian alternative?

It depends what you are looking for? Mechanical pieces? Shiny repop? PG Classics for aftermarket stuff. Do your research on quality of stuff tho. You can also try National Moparts.

Looking for regular everyday parts, gaskets, odd speed part. Nothing special. The sort of stuff Jegs or Summit mights have.

As a substitute for Rock Auto, try partsavatar.ca I've had good experiences with them. Their prices are great, shipping charges drop off if you spend 100.00 or more. They ship quickly (got my parts in 3 workdays) out of 2 warehouses, one in Calgary, the other in Ontario somewhere.

Cool, I'll give them a look see!

You would be surprised what local dodge dealer carrie's for MP stuff. I got great deals on sb gaskets and ECU box, intermediate shaft etc. Sucks we dont have the availability of Jegs or Summit. I also order eddy stuff from Karbelt Speed and Custom.

Summit has very resonable shipping costs to Canada now with all charges included and no surprise charges at the door. Returns are also handled in Canada. All you have to do is return the item to FEDEX in Mississauga and everything else is handled by Summit.

I've also used wrenchmonkey.ca a few times. They are out by the Toronto airport. Free shipping over $99 or pickup on by the airport.

Just don’t let them ship parts via Canpar. You need to be home to sign for your parts. Nigel and team are good.

Totally agree about Canpar. They seem to still operate in the Stone Age. Shipping price was outrageous and it took 4 days longer than it should have. Also, I couldn’t track the shipment as the shipper only has access to that feature (via phone). And when it finally was delivered it was at 8pm at night.

I 2nd scatpackbee's recommendation on Summit....I have used Summit a few times and no surprise charges at the door....also only takes about 3-5 working days usually to come out west. Depending on what you order, it ships from a warehouse out east.

Nigel and Scott at National Moparts have everything. They are car guys and
will help you with info, numbers, parts or any thing you need!
