somebody tightened the **** out of them, probably cause it leaked and ended up striping them out. did you flaten out all the holes in the pan before reassembling it?
They weren't mushroomed up at all, cleaning pad ran smooth over them while I was cleaning old gasket junk off. Makes sense about someone over tightening in the past.
