Okay, I have looked around and tried to find the definitive answer to my question but do not feel confident yet in my results. I have a '73 Swinger with the original 318. I have another 318 from a '75 D100 truck that is free to me (thanks dad). It is my understanding that these two are interchangeable but I feel like I have seen some posts where they discuss different mounts. Can someone please give me a clear answer as to what I will need to make this fit, if anything at all. Thanks in advance, you guys are great.

The bosses on the 318 are the same your mounts from the swinger should bolt up
of course the truck mounts are different but the 318 block is the same

just to add to the mounts, you may need to change the oil pan and pickup tube.

A block is a block. The bosses are the same. Truck car van? Motor mounts are different. But your question is the block.

I believe in the last question he is looking for more than just mounts, but I could be wrong. But you are correct with the bosses :)

Put the motor mounts from the car engine on the truck engine...

Change the oil pan and oil pickup tube as the truck hump is in a different location and will hit on a car k-frame... Get a car oil pan and pick up tube and it will work...

Guys thanks for all the info. I planned to use my pan all along but just wanted to ensure that the blocks were the same. I’m new-ish to the Mopar thing so a little lost sometimes.
