post your 9second and quicker combo's here!
Yes it worked good however from what I've learnt over the years the 90/10's were wrong for the car, the cam was too big for the comp., the intake valve closed @90deg!! so I only had about 128psi CP, to little air in the slicks etc.etc., would love to get that combo back today and put all the things right, raise the comp to 12.5 or a smaller dur. cam, get rid of that Team G for a Victor, put a 1050AN on it or a Dom, and a 5000 stall, reckon there would be a mid>lowish 10 in it possibly, that would put some of the other Mopar guys with 500+ci motors to shame, as most are only just in the 9's-low 10's with eddy/victor ally heads with similar weight cars. I parted the car out in 1993 as couldn't sell it turnkey and it hasn't been seen since, so thats not going to happen unless I build it and the cost today would be huge, the whole car at the line including buying it owed me around £9000 ($11300), it would cost near that just to get a back-half job done today....... I'll tell Lee I spoke to you when I see him next, all the best......Les
