I recently noted empty holes for bolts on ends of my bumpers. Wondering if there are brackets needed or how bolts s/b fitted. Appears to be hole for carriage bolt behind bumper in the fender..

There should be a support braket on each end that bolts through the fenders with a bumper bolt and nut and a bolt with a body gasket of foam to seal it - at least on the trunk end.

Yes there are adjuster brackets/clips.
I think Jake had some for sale..

this, both ends. They center the bumpers and stop small vibrations on the ends. But can be a hair of a pain when installing.

that's what I"m gonna do - will just put in the chromed bolts to finish look - hey, tell me what doesn't vibrate when she's running..lol

A light aluminum bracket might be a good solution -- one that would absorb any impact by bending. Even plastic...

aluminum is a good idea - easy to fab. - got some stock here too.

Tape off the body hole from inside trunk. Exhaust fumes will come into trunk area/cabin. Pretty that's why foam gasket is there from factory.

I did that, was hard to get them adjusted right, due to bending when titening down, jumped on the orig. when I found them at "not rape" prices.

s/b no bending if you get angles right, no? a little tricky no doubt (may be I should shut up till I try it! lol)

Didn’t know there was a market for these things. Took mine off & tossed them. I was worried about a little bumper impact transmitting to the fenders, as mentioned above. I assume the point of them is to hold the bumper aligned. If they are just thin aluminum paired to a stiff bumper, what good would they do? Other than visual I guess. I just put all the bolts back to plug the holes.
